According to ComScore data, between the months of January to May 2009 these sites increased their reach by 5 points, reaching 27% of the Internet population, which represents an increase of almost 700,000 unique users since January, according to panel data.
It is a very active user profile, who frequently visits the site and keeps their profile updated. Although not all professional or employment portals are the same, some concentrate a high number of professionals seeking a change of employment from their current position, which makes them a very attractive public for advertisers. 91% of Infoempleo’s audience, for example, is currently working according to data from the Nielsen NetView panel on April 09 and only the remaining 8.9% is made up of unemployed, retired or people under 16 years of age.
The user profile of this portal, one of the first audience in the field of training and employment, is a person between 25 and 34 years. It has more than 2.4 million unique monthly users, in addition to an opt-in database of more than 900,000 people (of which 99% reside). In the business area, the portal works with more than 52,000 registered companies, 90% of them SMEs and almost 20,000 self-employed.
The portal also has developed new concepts to attract the audience, such as Infoempleo 2.0, a space enabled for both professionals and companies to have an active development through the creation of networks of contacts.
